Nzingha Prescod
US Fencing 2012 Olympian
Prescod is a Brooklyn native and 2012 Olympian. She hails from the well-regarded Peter Westbrook Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing the art of fencing to the inner-city youth of New York, where she has been fencing since she was nine years old. Prescod made history in 2015 as the first African-American woman ever to win an individual medal at the Senior World Championships when she took bronze and established herself as a podium contender for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
